Remembering “Lawrence of Arabia” Editor Anne V. Coates, ACE

We sadly just learned of the passing of legendary Editor Anne V. Coates, ACE. We had the pleasure of meeting Anne when she joined us for “Sight, Sound & Story” 2016 with moderator/writer Bobbie O’Steen. Anne was easily one of our most memorable panelists that we have ever had; not only for her extremely long and esteemed career, but because of her outspoken, joyful, and charming personality. She has garnered four additional Academy Award nominations for Becket, The Elephant Man, In the Line of Fire , and Out of Sight . She's cut so many varied, fascinating films over the course of her career, but this video is a fascinating look into the process behind cutting Unfaithful. Check it out!
