This matchup features the epic Chariot Race from William Wyler's "Ben-Hur" against the dramatic opening to Francis Ford Coppola's "Apocalypse Now." "Ben-Hur" won Best Picture as well as Best Editing by Ralph E. Winters, ACE and John D. Dunning, ACE. Richard Marks, ACE, Walter Murch, ACE,  Gerald B. Greenberg, ACE and Lisa Fruchtman, ACE were all nominated for their work on "Apocalypse Now."
